here's a trick: shoot two video frames per frame and blend them. removes pretty much all the video noise. or shoot 5 to remove all video noise. it's an old darkroom trick from still photography that i used a couple of years ago when i did stop motion with a connectix web camera (very noisy), and i just realized it could apply to the workprinter as well. roger, how about modifying the mouse thing to generate several clicks?

Agreed.
I shoot progressive when transfering with my homebuilt versin of a workprinter.I tested shooting still pictures using both methods, interlaced vs. progressive. I then zoomed in on the still. The progressive was slightly sharper, even though I for testing I captured the still as a frame, not field.
This was with a Sony 900, which only has 15 fps progressive, useless for all but still capturing.
